Umair Chaudhry – Studio Manager

For several years Umair has worked as sound engineer, having worked with many bands in and outside Oxford, where travelling has led him to different locations in the UK using his mobile recording setup. He has experience in both studio and location environments, using a comprehensive array of his own recording equipment.

Umair has also composed pieces for various short films. Having being classically trained, he is able to arrange scores for orchestra and print quality transcripts using Sibelius software. He also has a sound knowledge of acoustics and sound FX construction.

Umair is the joint owner of Trojan Horse Recordings, a small independent record label which specialises in genre-defying music.

Joe Lawrence - Studio Engineer

Joe has worked closely with many rock and hip-hop artists over the years. His expertise in producing a great recording has earned him praise from many of our clients.

Jim Warren

Jim Warren (Peter Gabriel, Nine Inch Nails, Art of Noise, Doves), who has been mixing for Radiohead for 13 years, he has worked alongside Keynote Studio’s for several years. In his time at Keynote he has helped formed up and coming band ‘Whispering Knees’, the band is now gigging regularly and have just finished there second demo with him.

Jim Warren also does Peter Gabriel's live sound and has produced and engineered albums by Jocasta and Pineforest Crunch. Jim has produced the second Unbelievable Truth album and has also been working with new acts Darling, Gintare and Wock. Jim has also produced a single for Damien Saez.

He continues to work extensively with Radiohead in the studio and provide their live shows with the sound that band and fans alike have come to expect. He recorded ‘You Never Wash Up After Yourself’ (My Iron Lung EP, 1994), mixed ‘Permanent Daylight’ (My Iron Lung EP, 1994). He was mixer and producer of ‘High & Dry’ (The Bends, 1995). He also engineered all the demos for the album ‘The Bends’.

Noel Newton - Proprietor

Noel is the founder of Load Media setup in 2003. Load are based in Reading and they boast fully experienced staff members: Ally A&R, Darren on Sales and Joe/James in Dispatch. The Load team all have their own things going on. At Load, all of the staff are involved in the music scene, Noel owns Keynote Recordings, Darren DJ’s under the name ‘Deadly P’, he hosts the Load Media show on Jungletrain.net every Friday 5-7pm GMT, he also owns Deadly Records, Ally DJs under the name ‘Nu Balance’.
